I have had this feeling since day 1. We are not going to get Harrison Barnes. He has visited multiple times but it never really seemed like he loved Kansas. I feel like he is choosing between Duke and UNC and when I went to Barnes' Rivals page it just confirmed my thoughts. Barnes has UNC listed as high interest and he also has Duke listed has high interest. Then you see Kansas and they are listed as medium interest. Personally I think he is going to Duke. I think he has fallen in love with Duke since he first visited there.
The fact that Xavier Henry is here does not help things. From what I have heard, Xavier is not really looking like a one and done player and I could see him returning next season. For that reason we are going to lose out on Barnes.
Barnes has said he is going to sign in November, which leads me to believe that he has made his decision. Don't be surprised if we hear that Barnes has committed to Duke around Thanksgiving time.

I agree with the Barnes and Duke decision....but i will predict that Xavier (although not as quickly as we would like) will be a one and done and complete stud by Indianapolis.

I have my doubts that Xavier is going to be a one and done and if there is a slightest doubt in Barnes' head then he will not come to KU...Look, he can step in and play right away for Duke no problem. In fact, Im sure coach K has promised him a starting spot for his team. Bill Self will not promise anything to his recruits and he makes his players work for their time on the floor and it seems as though Barnes is afraid of a little competition. I do think Barnes is a better player than Xavier though.
I dont see Barnes going to ISU, KU, or UCLA...It's between Duke and UNC and I think Duke is the school he will choose this November...Should be interesting to see if Self can nab one out of nowhere but I dont see it.
