I'm a little surprised to see so few voting for Huldon Tharp. In a year where LB is so wide open and to have such a great judge of talent like Mangino say he is really great I cant wait to see him play. I understand both of the other choices and also cannot wait to see them play, but WR is a huge strength and RB also is fairly solid. I am more excited to see a big contribution for a struggling unit. This obviously is just my own opinion and I would like to hear some others.

i just like opurum's confidence and wisdom. if he plays with the poise and sef-assured self-knowledge that he shows in interviews, he's going to be special.

I too want to see what the Kansas product Huldon Tharp will do this year. He seems to be a good match for a defense trying to stop the spread offenses in the BIG XII.

Seeing Huldon means we're on D, and therefore the other team is in position to scoring points, tho I do agree on the sentiment of seeing the native son succeed.

We also have other LB's & WR's. KU has no other big RB. I miss BMac, and am looking forward to the "thunder" returning to the lineup. Somewhat ironically tho, all the recollection I have of BMac is of him slicing thru a gap, side stepping traffic, etc. Who has the YouTube link to BMac blowing up a D-boy? Other fav BMac plays?

I always liked the images of BMac dragging would-be Aggie tacklers behind him as he picks up what seemed like 15 yards per carry against A&M.
