Winter Haven, Fla. — Kansas University women’s golfer Emily Powers and former Jayhawk Amanda Costner were among 288 players who began play at the Duramed Futures Golf Tour Qualifying Tournament this week. The tour is the developmental tour for the LPGA.

Costner is tied for 43rd at 4-over, while Powers is 7-over and tied for 72nd.
